Understanding stop settings
06.03.2024
To make sure your route matches your visit/delivery instructions or real-world situations, Maposcope has a couple of options you can set up or use for any stop:
- - Priority
- - Time window
- - Service time
- - Type (delivery type)
Also, there are some other settings that can help you to classify each stop in your list, like:
- - ID
- - Group (pin color)
- - Notes
- - Change address button
Priority
You have two buttons ASAP and Normal.
Use ASAP button when a single or multiple stops absolutely have to be done at the beginning of your route.
Time Windows
Use Time Windows when you need to be at a stop before, after, or between specific times.
-
Arrive between Now and Anytime: The default setting. Maposcope will place the stop in the route wherever it's more efficient
-
Arrive between 11AM and Anytime: In this example, Maposcope will make sure you'll arrive at the stop any time after 11AM
-
Arrive between Now and 11AM: In this example, Maposcope will make sure you'll arrive at the stop any time before 11AM
Service Time (Stop Duration)
To calculate accurate ETAs, Maposcope needs to know how much time you'll spend at each stop.
This is the amount of time between stopping your car for the visit/delivery and leaving again for the next stop.
You can change the default value in Maposcope settings
f you know a specific stop will take more or less time, you can use this option to add the correct duration. Each stop can have its own stop duration. Try setting up stop duration as accurately as possible. If it's off by even 1 or 2 minutes, it can greatly impact your ETAs.
Type (delivery type)
Marking the stop as a delivery or pickup/collection.
ID (delivery ID)
An external ID, order ID, or reference number is associated with the stop. It will be added to each stop, or imported from file.
Group (pin color)
You can associate specific group with multiple stops, and see it on the map
Change address button
You can save time and easily edit the address of an existing stop.
Click this button, and then you can search for the new address you want to use for this stop.
You can edit the address of stops when adding them to your daily route or even while doing your deliveries.
